  1. I had a LARGE number of unexpected guests and all I could offer was two quaint but cold log cabins in the garden. Thanks to Dunelm and the cosy electric bed blankets all the guests were happy and warm, and for a family of mum, dad, grandad and 5 children [+1/2, mum is expecting n. 6!!]to be all happy is a real achievement. Thank you Dunelm!!

  2. I have shopped at Dunelm on and off since it opened in Rotherham.
I always seem to be able to find exactly what I want. That’s because there is such a good range of product. I’m 71 now and it’s good to be able to find what I want without running all over the place. The staff have always been sociable and helpful.Which is so important and often lacking these days.
Thank you for good choices and tasteful products.

  3. I recently shopped at the Dunelm Store in Bury-St-Edmunds. I have shopped at the store in Ipswich before and I continue to be amazed at the magnificent value and range of goods available. At every turn in both stores is is a whole new shopping experience. I could spend a whole weekend in your stores.

  4. I ordered three large (flat-pack) underbed storage boxes in blue and a wall clock from the Dunelm website. Got an email and a text this morning to say the goods were ready for collection. It is a 45 minute drive from my home to the store, but as I needed the items quickly I had to go and get them. However when I got there I was told that they didn’t have any blue boxes in stock only red. Couldn’t they have told me that in the email or text? I certainly wouldn’t have driven all that way to collect them, red boxes are no good to me. They went off and came back with the blue in a smaller size and presented them to me as though they were what I had ordered. I said these are smaller than those I ordered, ‘Yes’ she replied ‘But only in one dimemsion’ (!!!) But as I had driven all that way and needed blue storage boxes I accepted them, although I had to buy 6 insead of 3 as they were smaller. When I got them home and made them up I found that four of the boxes were one shade of blue and the other two more of a turquoise blue. I wanted them to go together along a large wide shelf, so they needed to match. They don’t – then to add insult to injury I found that the clock which was listed under ‘wall clocks’ when searching the website, was not a wall clock at all it was a table top model. Then when I put the battery in it one of the decorative pearls surrounding the dial fell out! Cheap and nasty but not worth the time and petrol involved in taking items back. Disappointing all round

  5. 7. After the death of my Husband in late 2011 , I was depressed and stuck in a rut , wanting things to stay the same for ever in the house. I visited my local Dunelm , and was able to buy , at a reasonable price , some fresh , pretty and luxurious bedding. Walking around the store made me see what I had been missing! I am on a State Pension only , but I was able to buy these things in the Sale. Good quality things which I had never seen anywhere else. The coffee shop was great , friendly ,and clean , and I have made many visits since to browse and see friends. my latest buy was a Table Lamp , brilliant ! and although full price , was very reasonable. The whole atmosphere there is relaxed, efficient , and friendly , and I would recommend it to anyone.

  8. I shopped in swindon, I had a great experience especially the lady on the till was very friendly and polite. I always go to Dunelm-mill for curtains and wall art they have a great variety. Last week I took a couple of my friend with me, they went their for the first time and they loved it.

  9. I like the store, so much to choose from! Staff are always “on tap” helpful and smiling. So far I have not had to return many things for whatever reason but never a problem with that, not even if you have changed your mind because of colour or the item not looking as you imagined it would when you took it home.

  10. visited Dunelm store in Halifax, Yorkshire, spent a lot of money but got value for it. bagged a few good bargains, then visited the lovely pleasant looking restaurant, there was one young chap doing the work of two….the que was building up and customers were fed up of waiting with their order, a few walked off…i waited 35 mins before i was served…!!!! but the tea and toastie were good, will certainly visit the store a, think i`ll pass on the resteraunt though…..cheers..martin & linda lee…

  11. Visited Dunelm store in Hastings/St Leonards having been on the internet the previous day looking for drinking glasses. They had some in their sale in sets of six but despite the website saying they were in stock they only had individual glasses when I went today. Did not reserve as I wanted to see them before purchasing. Although much more expensive to purchase individually, I was happy with the quality and price.
The girl at the checkout carefully wrapped each glass in tissue paper and packed them in two bags. I was very impressed with the care that she took and wished that I had noted her name.
This store is new and well laid out with a pleasant little cafe and we frequently visit to purchase a variety of products and consider it to have a very good range of good quality and reasonably priced products.

  12. Visited dunelm at straighton Edinburgh and delighted with experience. Great value for money and shop lay out great. Staff couldn’t be more helpful and will be making it a first port of call for all future household goods. Really couldn’t fault a thing!!

I had ordered a rug on line but decided to look at at some others first beforehand, a young assistant calledTarron Bennet showed me a lovely selection! I was really impressed, he asked me if he could help me to the car with my perchases, I was so pleased with my visit & will be back to the store again soon.
