If you have been given a leaflet to complete the Homebase Survey or have recently purchased something from Homebase give your feedback at and tell Homebase what you thought. To begin you will need to enter the 4-digit survey code or 15-digit code from your receipt. Enter the date and time of visit to Homebase and continue to answer questions on the service you received at Homebase.

  1. I am a regular Homebase customer and buy mainly from their garden section or from the homedecorating section. Their own range of paints and emulsions is very comprehensive but if in doubt, the staff are all helpful with sorting queries. It makes a pleasant change too to be offered a helping hand with the purchases out to the car. Thank you Homebase!

  2. No such kind words from me, I’m afraid. This picture will come from both barrels, after the shabby treatment my partner received today at your Winterhill store. I went online and reserved two items. Was instructed to pick them up after 3PM from the customer services desk. I couldn’t get there myself, so arranged for my partner to pick them up. Five minutes I told her, as I handed over the reservation numbers. She arrived home with two items, neither of which I reserved. She was given the wrong paint and the wrong filler.
    Neither item was at the customer services desk, she was told to go and pick what she wanted from the shelves. She had no idea what I had ordered, all she had was two numbers. Tomorrow I will visit the shop myself, and return the crap I didn’t order! I will never place another online order with you again!

    i got a great friendly service to day when i visited your st austell branch , to buy a brush cutter , richard was the member of staff who served me , and at my request he even put it together for me and made sure it was all working properly , can’t thank him enough for his help , you have a star member of staff in richard thank you

  4. I went into Homebase, Longwell Green for some compost. Thinking I could carry a bag myself, I made my way to the garden centre. I couldn’t even lift the bag off the stand, I went in search of some help & a lovely man called Mike offered his assistance. Not only did Mike get the compost from the stand, he pushed the trolley to the checkout and then loaded the compost into my car. Thank you Mike, excellent customer service & care. I would have completed the survey at paint us a picture, but I lost my receipt!

Yes I’m a regular customer of the home base in east Acton w.3,and recently I had ordered an item on line I was very disappointed about what information they intact didn’t even text or e-mail about,so I rang up customer service in which I was in a queue for 40minutes so in the end I went to my local store to see if they could be more helpful and even while I was there using there phone to talk to customer service I got hung up on three times and if it wasn’t for this really lovely young lady helping me I was getting very very angry in the end this lady that helped me was so helpful and very nice she sorted it out for me I asked her name as I think she is a very polite very helpful valued person in this store and I think she deserves some sort of promotion,her name is Ansuyk.

My wife and I went into homebase in Bath for some 13 amp plugs not sure as to where the are we asked for help the assistant name was Sue a very happy smiling person who was very helpful not only did she show us where the plugs are but also helped us to find other items we needed, customer service is very important we felt that the assistant Sue made our day and put a smile on our faces, thankyou Sue.

  7. We went into our local Harrogate Store on Tues 17th December between 7 and 8 pm. We had purchased a 7 ft Christmas tree and glass baubles the day before from Homebase half price at £100. I had bought one or two decs in town that day and wanted to add more decs from Homebase the same evening. I bought some lovely decorations at a really good price. When we got to the checkout I mentioned that they had no lights left. Malcolm and Dorothy were quick and keen to sort us out with some which were a real bargain. They were so smiley, chearful and helpful and it made my day. To be honest no-one had wanted to serve me in town and it was dead in town all afternoon. Customer service at it’s best from Homebase and lovely products too. My tree looks beautiful and quite classy. Thank you very much

  8. We assisted by jayshree at your south ruislip store today ( Tuesday 7th. January ) and we were very pleased with the way she helped us, very pleasent and knowledgable on the products we were looking into, jayshree helped us purchase the items. Thank you, Jayshree.

  9. My husband and I recently bought a Schreiber kitchen from the Lowestoft branch. We had outstanding customer service at all times. We were made to feel welcome and relaxed and given star treatment. Gordon who planned the kitchen with us worked hard to give us exactly what we wanted and made it clear to us that it was important to him that we were happy with the finished outcome. He also took time to phone around to find us a kitchen tap that we really liked that was no longer in stock, but with perseverance he was able to find the last one at a bargain price. Kevin the store manager also helped us find all the appliances that we had chosen giving us an excellent price match.
    We are now looking forward to our new Schreiber kitchen arriving!

    A big thank you to all who made it a pleasurable experience.

  10. I was greeted by Kevin Coyle at Homebase, Cookstown today (Wed 8th Jan). Kevin was very helpful and showed good knowledge of the product I needed. I even walked out with an extra deal under my arm. Helpful, friendly and easygoing. Homebase will be my first port of call in future. Thankyou

  11. I visited Homebase in Inverness and purchased 7 rolls of wall insulation.
    At the till at customer service I was asked if I would like a hand to take the rolls to my car but after declining the offer asked for them to be put in a bag.
    Without hesitation and with the help of another assistant the rolls were bagged separately to enable me to carry them all.
    Very helpful staff.

  12. Went to the Bredbury Homebase store to check out the plants and containers, found some excellent plants and containers. On checking out on the internet the care of the plant I bought there was a lot of people had bought plants from other stores that they were having trouble with!, I glad to say the Homebase plants are really healthy looking and no falling leaves!.
    The staff at Bredbury store were very helpful and pleasent and I will certainly be paying a visit again in the near future, saw some nice standard lamps there!.

  13. Yesterday went into Homebase in Newbury Retail park, Was stuck on a type of paint needed, Duncan on the paint counter was so helpful and suggested other options. Nothing was too much bother for him, He even went out of his way to help my Hubby on some plumbing items. Even though he was new to the job and young. He has very good customer care skills, Will look forward to shopping in the store again and I am sure if I have a problem Duncan will be a good help. Thanks Duncan

    Barry at Homebase in Morecambe is a superstar who takes all the hard work out of finding all the right components to extend a T.V. Aerial or workout the right paint for the job etc.
    All the other staff are polite and helpful.
    I am addicted to the garden centre and always come away with plants when I only went for a paint brush!
    The choice is amazing and the plants are very healthy, also a very good range of plant pots and other gardening requirements.

  15. Went to the Wolverhampton Homebase store on st Johns retail park. To check out the paints, i was struggling with my purchase and a EXCELLENT shop assistant RAJ MATHARU asked us if we needed any help. He checked on the internet for items that were out of stock in store and ordered them for us! he also showed us all the other items we needed. An Personally shopped with us in the store making sure we had the best items an the right tool equipment. I will certainly be visiting this store again. RAJ! you are a asset to homebase wolves!!! and your customer service skills he was a great personal shopper! we were amazing you truly helped us keep up the good work.
